What if you only had two years to live?

No. What if you had the rest of your life, to live the way you want to?

You live in a small town, a kind of "off the map" sort of town, with nothing extremely important in it save for your family and friends; maybe the small mall and the movie theaters. A nice little bar as well, for "the adults" of course. Its the kind of town everyone at some point wants to escape from, because lets face it: its dull here.
But its the one thing thats keeping you alive, keeping you sane and real. The only reason you're here today, is because of this town. If you lived in some city, where the stars were clouded from pollution, you'd never see what really goes on behind closed doors; you'd never feel what you feel for a town you love and hate so much.

This is the time of your life to live it to it's fullest. You know whats waiting, you know what you want. Tomorrow could be the day that you die. But tomorrow could also be the day you find out who you really are, who your future partner could be, or why your father hasnt talked to you in ten years.
High school has to be the one thing that everyone either loves, or hates. There really isnt an inbetween here in this small town. Families are close or they're broken. Siblings love or hate each other. You get the idea; this is a real tight knit group, and you're smack-dab in the middle of it all.

But here's the trap everyone blindly falls into. Gossip is like water here, its almost everywhere you look. Whether its about little Timmy falling from his tree (again) or Missus Hall seeing a younger gentleman, there is constant gossip. Would you spend the last two years of your life here, where everyone, and anyone, could talk about you, or your life without a sense of regret? Or would you try and escape, and die knowing that you cant, you cant escape the one thing you live on?
