The wolves who had escaped the plague and left their homeland, traveled here, to a paradise riddled by fighting deities and creatures that called themselves Shadowhunters, wolves blessed by angels to fight demons that plague the lands. Dying of hunger and heartbroken over the loss of their homeland, they found a new home here among these wolves and learned the art of demon hunting. Generations of wolves passed and it was only then did they realize what a curse being a Shadowhunter was. There were two deities, Axel and Malayia, fighting for control of this small piece of paradise and the Shadowhunters where Malayia's minions, sworn to find and kill those who were blessed by Axel. The Shadowhunter's, realizing they were being used for their Goddess's benefit, fought against her, turned their gifts and powers against her. But Malayia quickly caught on and took away their gifts, leaving them as mortal and normal as regular wolves. Malayia unable to use anything aganist Axel, fled the new Mendoza but the wolves that called themselves Shadowhunters are left with the odd markings of their past gifts but without the gifts and powers she had blessed them with. They live together with the creatures they once killed, demons, Axel's creatures, but slowly, tensions are rising again and the first demon is murdered for the first time in years. Is Malayia returning her gifts to her disciples to finish the forever battle and what will Axel do to protect those he loves? Will you choose the life of a Shadowhunter or a demon?
