Welcome to Falhill City, run by dogs and a safe haven for those who wish to escape the treachery of humans. Abandoned years ago, only dogs live here now, giving the opportunity of a peaceful place for dogs to live. Of course, we all know that total peace is never really achievable. There are those who would wish for peace and there are those who only want power. Paradise, leader of Hiken, and Gin, leader of Tenshi, are those who are trying to make the city a safe place for dogs everywhere, pack members and loners alike. Romano, leader of Mikiri, is the dog who wants nothing but control of every dog who dares to walk into Falhill City. He will stop at nothing to destroy Tenshi and Hiken and rile over the city and all of the lands surrounding it. From his stronghold in the Forest of Death he is building a pack and planning a takeover as the other two packs struggle to come back to life after the devastating war that Romano last waged against them. Romano, too, is struggling to rebuild his pack, though he seems to be gaining more ground that the other leaders. Fear of what is to come if Romano should succeed grips everyone. But Romano is unaware of the danger that lurks within his own pack; a danger that threatens not only his success but his life This danger comes from one of the dogs in his pack, but which dog is it?
With a coming war and a hidden danger, the future could become one of many different things. Everyone waits apprehensively, hoping for the best.

It's spring again, and that means that the rain is here. After a cold winter with far too much snow, the rain was welcomed at first, especially because it brought new life to the land. But now that it has been raining nonstop for some time everyone is tired of the wet. There are requent floods in valleys and near rivers, so be careful. But at least everything is green again, right?

June 2, 2009 - I have finally finished the new skin. I would work on organizing the boards and moving old threads and such, and I would do some advertising as well, but I will be spending the next four or five days with my dad at my grandma's house. He's in town for my graduation, so I'm spending time with him. I don't have any of my normal tools for doing graphics or anything, so I don't have much to work with here. I want to open the site up for people again, which is why I'm not waiting until I can finish my updates.

May 30, 2009 - I am gonna be working on doing some major updates for Ascendancy over the next week or so. The site is in maintenence mode at the moment because I am working on the skin and I don't want anyone on while I do that. Once I've update the skin and all I will work on updating boards, and then it will be time for an activity check. Keep your eyes open for more updates!

Shopping
The Shop (1 sub-board) You may have noticed the feature in your profile called points. You accumulate these as you post. Well, so this feature isn't entirely useless, I am allowing you to buy things for yourselves and your dogs. The list of items you can buy and the form you have to fill out in order to buy something are located inside. Moderator: Anyu
Crumbling City (1 sub-board) The city was abandoned years ago, left for the dogs. All that remains of the humans are their buildings; tall, old, dilapidated buildings that are beginning to crumble and fall. The city can be a dangerous place if you aren't careful. Most of the structures are unstable, but a few may still remain standing for years to come. Moderator: Anyu

Riversedge Apartments A large apartment complex was built here near the river many years ago, but the structure was created to withstand even the worst earthquakes, so it continues to stand even today. Years of neglect haven't seemed to do much to this building, though vines grow on one side and not all of the windows are unbroken. It is a good place for stray dogs to stay. Moderator: Anyu

Blue River The Blue River is a large, dirty river that is slowly growing cleaner now that the humans are gone. The waters are too fast to cross by swimming, so it must be crossed by using the bridges that cross it. It separates the northern and southern halves of the city. Moderator: Anyu

Selance Station The bus station and the train station were combined into one station in order to save room. Now they are empty, though a few idle buses and trains sit, waiting to be used again, though they never will be. A stairway leads to the subways, thought those are dark and empty, unused for years. The Packs
Forest of Death (2 sub-boards) The Forest of Death is a place where most dogs prefer to keep away from, though not because of the forest itself. They stay away because of the dogs that already live here; the dreaded Mikiri Pack. The forest is a dark place filled with all kinds of creatures. It always seems to be dark, thought that might be simply because of Mikiri's reputation. Moderator: Anyu

Southern Selance (2 sub-boards) Southern Selance is the better half of the city. No more than half of the buildings here are crumbling to the ground, opposed to the rest of the city where most of the buildings are falling down. This part of the city is home to the Hiken Pack, the pack that lays in between the Mikiri and the Tenshi packs. They have little reputation, since they prefer to keep out of the business of other packs. Moderator: Anyu

Ramshackle Hideaways (2 sub-boards) The Ramshackle Hideaways is a collection of different terrains. Most of it is the richer part of the city; large buildings and big lawns. The buildings have begun to fall down but are still in relatively good shape. The rest of the terrain is open country were cows and other farm animals roam the land. This is home to the Tenshi Pack. Perlius
Secret Forest The Secret Forest is a dense forest that lies on the borders of the city. It is growing closer and closer to the buildings every day. With no humans to keep it back it is growing at a quick rate. Rivers and lakes can be found inside the dense walls of trees and many species of animals make their homes here. Moderator: Anyu

Sunset Beach Though the east side of the city is bordered by a dense forest, the west side lays along a beautiful beach. The sands are white and untained by humans, the waters are beautiful and clear. There are many tidal pools and sand dunes everywhere. It is a nice place to come and spend time and relax, especially when the sun is shining. Moderator: Anyu

Coulin County Coulin County was the part of Selance City that was once farmland. Now that the humans are gone the animals that once lived on the farms - inlcuding cows, sheep, and horses - have escaped and now run wild on the open ranges just as the deer do. There are many open fields with tall grasses that reach well over the heads of most animals and some fields that are filled with wild crops that continued to grow after the humans left. The Old Church The old church lays on the ouskirts of town. It was founded in the mid eighteen hundreds by the new settlers in the region, before there was a big city here. It has been abandoned longer than the city, and yet it still stands, a portal into the past. It is a little unstable, so it is recommended that anyone who enters is careful about where they move.
